Despicable Me Movie Review

"Despicable Me" is a great family movie.  I went to this movie with my husband and two kids while we were on vacation in the Black Hills, South Dakota. It's a story about a Super Villian named Gru, who wants to steal the moon.  Part of his plan involves adopting three little orphaned girls - Margo, Edith and Agnes.  The girls are all so sweet, however, the youngest, Agnes, stands out.  She loves unicorns, and some of the cutest, memorable scenes involve her.

Grus little helpers, his "minions", are yellow, pill-shaped creatures that have their own language.  These minions have some of the funniest scenes in the movie.  Grus scary-looking dog also offers some entertainment.  The other main character in the movie is "Vector", another villian who Gru wants to outdo.

Eventually, the girls capture the heart of evil Gru, and they are taken on some great adventures.  Gru turns out to be a loving, fatherly figure.  This is a movie that will have you laughing and it will also touch your heart.

For some great scenes with Agnes, click here.  For the official movie trailer, click here.  The movie is also available in 3-D.  Rated PG for some scary scenes.

Have a great day!
